The things people ask before buying
FAQ
Can I use it during the day?
Partly. At 360 ANSI lumens this is a dark-room projector, like almost everything at this price. With the curtains closed on a grey afternoon it looks great. In direct daylight it will look washed out — if you mainly want to watch at 3pm in a sunlit room, buy a TV instead. We'd rather tell you now than take the return.
Does it need a screen, or is a wall fine?
A plain wall is fine, and it's what most people use. Light colours work best — white, cream, light grey. Textured or dark walls lose contrast. A €20 fold-out screen sheet gets you maybe 15% more punch if you want it.
How's the sound?
The built-in speaker is fine for one person watching in a quiet bedroom, and thin for a film night with friends. Bluetooth pairs to any speaker or headphones in a few seconds, and there's a 3.5 mm jack. Realistically, most people pair it to a speaker they already own.
Will Netflix and Disney+ work?
Android is built in with its own app store, and casting from your phone over WiFi works for most services. Some streaming apps restrict playback resolution on projectors and on any device they haven't individually certified — that's their licensing, not the hardware. The reliable route for those is casting from your phone or plugging in a stick over HDMI. If this is the whole reason you're buying, message us first and we'll tell you exactly what we've tested.
Does it run on battery?
No — it runs from the mains adapter. That's a deliberate trade: no battery means a brighter lamp and a lower price at this size. For the garden or camping, any 65 W USB-C power bank with a mains socket will run it for a couple of films.
